Sean Maloney is executive vice president of Intel Corporation, general manager of the Sales and Marketing Group, and chief sales and marketing officer. He has been with Intel since 1982.
Maloney began his Intel career in its European headquarters where he spent nine years, first as Intel UK's manager of applications engineering, then as country manager of Intel UK, and director of marketing for Intel Europe.
From 1992 to 1995, Maloney served as technical assistant to the chairman and chief executive of Intel, Dr. Andrew S. Grove.
In 1995, Maloney moved to Hong Kong to manage Intel's sales and marketing activities in Asia Pacific. In 1998 he returned to the United States to become head of Intel's worldwide sales organization. He was promoted to senior vice president in 1999 and executive vice president in 2001. He took over as head of Intel Communications Group (ICG) later that year and became co-manager with David Perlmutter of the Mobility Group in 2004. In July 2006 Maloney was appointed Chief Sales & Marketing Officer.
Mr. Maloney is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Committee on United States-China Relations, Inc.

Steven Guggenheimer

|
Steven Guggenheimer is corporate vice president of the Original Equipment Manufacturer Division at Microsoft. In this role, he oversees management of Microsoft's relationships with the makers of personal computers and other devices, multinational and regional OEMs, and embedded systems manufacturers.
Prior to his current role, Steven Guggenheimer was the General Manager of Microsoft's Application Platform & Development marketing division. In this role, Guggenheimer focused on Microsoft's cross-company Application Platform strategy and its sales and marketing initiatives, in conjunction with the worldwide development, sales and evangelism organizations. Guggenheimer also led the global Microsoft SQL Server, BizTalk Server and Developer Tools marketing organizations; and managed the operations teams focused on driving effective relationships with Microsoft's broad customer and industry partner communities.
In previous roles, Guggenheimer led the Small Business and Operations divisions in Microsoft's Small and Midmarket Solutions & Partners Group (SMS&P). He also worked abroad as part of the Microsoft U.K. subsidiary leadership team, helping improve the overall experience Microsoft provides to its customers and industry partners. He has also worked directly for Microsoft's president and chief operating officer on strategic business and process projects.
Guggenheimer joined Microsoft in 1993 as product manager in the Windows for Workgroups organization. During the next seven years, he provided technical marketing support for product lines Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT and Windows CE; Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0, 3.0 and 4.0; WebTV; and MSN. In addition, he has supported many key Microsoft initiatives such as those for Windows, Microsoft's Internet strategy and Microsoft .NET, and the evolution of Microsoft's consumer strategy.
Before coming to Microsoft, Guggenheimer spent five years with Spectra-Physics Inc., where he helped develop and market new products for the research and original equipment manufacturer laser divisions. He published numerous technical articles and was granted one patent. He received a bachelor's degree in applied physics from the University of California, Davis, and a master's degree in engineering management from Stanford University.
Guggenheimer is interested in the role of technology in the home and business as part of the evolution of the work force and in relation to family and social structures. He lives in the Seattle area with his wife Nikki, son Jack and daughter Hanna. He enjoys rugby, basketball and other sports.

Dr. Ming-shou Liu is the President of Accton Wireless Broadband (AWB) Corporation, a subsidiary of Accton Group devoted on the development of WiMAX technology and relevant subscriber devices.
From 2004 to 2008, Dr. Ming-shou Liu was a senior manager in Embedded Communication Group in Intel Corporation, managing the embedded system design including WiFi and WiMAX systems. Prior to joining Intel, he was with Applied Micro Circuit Corporation (AMCC) in Sunnyvale, California, and was responsible for network processor design. He was a technical staff in Motorola Inc. in Schaumburg, Illinois designing IP-based radio system. He has been a technical staff in Siemens Telecommunications Systems Limited, designing SONET management systems.
In additions to the industrial experiences, he has been an associate professor in Department of Electrical Engineering, National Chung-Hsing University. He has more than 20 publications in the past years including journal papers, conference papers, and technical reports.
Dr. Liu received his BS from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan in 1985, and MS and Ph.D. from Michigan State University, Lansing, Michigan, in 1991 and 1993, respectively, both form Electrical Engineering.

Chia-Hsiang Chang

In Oct. 2004, Dr. Chia-Hsiang Chang became General Director (副所長) of Networks and Multimedia Institute (abbr. NMI), Institute for Information Industry (abbr. III). Dr. Chang is in charge of network and communication technology development at NMI. Network and communication technology developed at NMI covers many aspects of Telematics, Rich Media and Interaction for Broadband Wireless Application, Service Centric Handeld Device Technologies, Internet, 3G WCDMA, WiMAX as well as 4G technologies. Major areas of activities in the NMI are WLAN Switch, Enterprise switch, IP DSLAM, policy based network, virtual private network, quality of service, voice over IP protocol, Ethernet switching, next generation WLAN technology, 3G WCDMA L2/L3 protocol, 3G UE terminal, IPTV and WiMAX base station research and development. Dr. Chang now deeply involves in M-Taiwan Project including national WiMAX Strategy Planning, WiMAX IOT center for M-Taiwan, WiMAX Technology development. Dr. Chang is a consultant of M-Taiwan Project Promotion office, and serves as a vice chair of wireless device SIG in 3G Club.
Previously, Dr. Chang was the deputy director of Technology Service Division, III. At that time, Dr. Chang was also the of project director of a network technology national project sponsored by Ministry of Economic Affair. Dr. Chang led this project developing network core technology such as embedded TCP/IP stack, SOHO router, ADSL router, video server, VoIP Gateway and WLAN access point. Due to excellent performance and impact to Taiwan industry, the national project led by Dr. Chang received excellent project award from MOEA in 2000.
Dr. Chang was with Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica (中央研究院資訊所) from Nov. 1992 to Oct. 1996. Dr. Change's research interest includes Broadband Network, TCP/IP, Wireless Internet Multimedia Networking, Program Transformation, High Level Programming Languages, Design and Analysis of Algorithm and Software Testing.
For his contribution to IT industry in Taiwan, Dr. Chang received the outstanding IT professional award of IT month (資訊月傑出資訊人才獎) in 2000 and Distinguished Electrical Engineer Award from The Chinese Institute Electrical Engineering (中國電機工程學會) in 2006。

Chung-Ming Huang received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Taiwan University on 1984/6, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in computer and information science from The Ohio State University on 1988/12 and 1991/6. Currently, he is a Distinguished Professor, Chairman of Dept. of Computer Science and Information Engineering, and Director of Institute of Medical Informatics, National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan, R.O.C.
He also serves as (i) Director for the Promotion Center for the Telematics Consortium (PCTC), Ministry of Education (MOE), Taiwan, R.O.C. and (ii) Principal Project Reviewer of Industrial Development Bureau and Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), Taiwan, R.O.C. He got Outstanding Youth Electrical Engineer Award, The Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering, 2001. He got the Best Paper Award in The 22nd IEEE International Conference on Advanced Information Networking and Applications (AINA2008).
He has published more than 200 referred journal and conference papers in wireless and mobile communication protocols, interactive multimedia systems, audio and video streaming and formal modeling of communication protocols. His research interests include wireless and mobile network protocol design and analysis, media processing and streaming, web technologies, and network applications and services.
