AIoT- Smart Computing

Since the early stages of the development of artificial intelligence (AI), the world has seen the advent of machine learning, automated learning, as well as deep learning. AI has now become a mature technology. The Internet of Things (IoT) has also become more widespread, permeating into commercial applications and consumer lifestyles. When AI finally merges with IoT, it will be like connecting a brain to a body. In addition to having the five senses, it will also be able to act on its own, comprehend data/specifications, process visual and auditory cues, and even allow robots to run and jump.

In 2018, the boundary of edge computing was broken, leading us into a brand-new era of AIoT. Edge computing reduces network loading while decreasing time-cost. It is not only intelligent, but executes smarter commands by sensing environments and judging situations. It is foreseeable that AI and IoT will quickly merge into AIoT. This new entity will begin to penetrate into our social and commercial spheres. It will be able to drive various smart applications and promote structural transformation in various industries.

At the same time, AIoT is in the process of rebuilding industrial value chains. According to a study conducted by a market research agency, AIoT applications are becoming more widespread among the world's consumers, enterprises, and governments. As more enterprises are showing interest in incorporating AIoT applications into their business operations, a significant increase in AIoT development is expected in the coming decade. 2018 will undoubtedly be a crucial year for AIoT development!
